Our Story…

Platinum Vocal Studio is a renowned and award winning singing school based in Sydney’s Inner West (Burwood, NSW). Teaching a wide range of musical genres including Pop, R&B, Rock, Jazz and all other contemporary styles of singing, Platinum Vocal Studio caters for all ages and levels, beginners to advanced.

The students are encouraged to set their own goals and are guided every step of the way to help achieve them. Beginners learn singing basics through techniques uniquely designed by Platinum Vocal Studio to enhance and develop their vocal strength, placement and pitching. Other skills such as harmonising, song writing, performance and other techniques are also developed as students progress. Advanced students are encouraged to record original songs and perform at various events throughout the music industry in Australia.

Platinum Vocal Studio aims to provide the complete musical experience in a fun-filled environment. The studio offers a variety of activities that students can get involved in. These include live performance opportunities, social nights, workshops, individual or group classes, international tours and various other activities. Students can choose to participate in as little or as much as they want, depending on their individual interests.

The Students

Platinum Vocal Studio students have not only performed in a number of musicals and theatre productions, but some have gone on to be cast in television shows including Young Talent Time, X Factor and The Voice. Students have also performed at many prestigious venues including The Entertainment Centre, Sydney Opera House, The Enmore Theatre, The Metro as well as numerous clubs and bars both locally, and internationally.

Vocal Coaches

At PVS we understand that the skills to be a performing artist are different to the skills required to coach and nurture students. Whilst all the vocal coaches are professional singers, they have all also received specialist training in vocal coaching. All coaches receive training internally on a continuous basis to ensure that each student is receiving the highest standard of learning. Platinum Vocal Studio features both male and female coaches that are all accomplished in training beginner to advanced levels.

Social Events

Shows, outings, fundraisers & more. Students, family and friends enjoy the light hearted and entertaining experience of the Platinum Vocal Studio social events. These include theatre trips to musicals and shows, karaoke nights, BBQs, jam sessions and other fun activities. Social Nights also give students the opportunity to build strong friendships through their common passion of music.

Workshops

Workshops are held during each school holidays for kids (daytime) through to adults (evenings) as well as intermittently through the school terms. These workshops are also held online and are designed to expose students to various aspects of music including recording, songwriting, artist development, audition techniques, home video recording for youtube etc. Workshops are open to all enrolled students as well as the general public.

International Tours

International tours to various countries occur biennially and give students an opportunity to perform for an international audience.
